Analysis of the certification services market of Moldova

Abstract

Competitiveness, which has a decisive role in producing and selling quality goods, has become one of the main concerns of governments and businesses in all countries that claim to become leaders in regional and global rankings. Moldova also has such a goal. National efforts focused on putting into practice the European regulations, the implementation of international and European standards, including quality, establishment of a national conformity assessment system, enhancing the quality of education, including continuing education and training – all will contribute to achieving social competitiveness. In Moldova was built a national structure multilateral of quality, especially on a private basis. This includes the national conformity assessment infrastructure and organizations in the education, training and consultancy fields. Its basic purpose is to generate confidence in products, services and their suppliers. The certification market is relatively new to the Moldovan economy. Currently, it is important to strengthen the institutional capacity of the system of conformity assessment infrastructure as a pillar of quality, so as to obtain credibility on the external market for certificates approved in Moldova.
