The study of the US experience in fighting unemployment and the possibility of its use in Ukraine

Abstract

The article investigates the main trends of unemployment in the U.S. labor market at this stage of economic development. It is proved that the present state of the U.S. labor market is very complex. The crisis that took place at this stage in the global economy has led to a material adverse change in the labor market, in particular, to increase the volume and rate of unemployment among the population and as a consequence - to the inefficient use of labor. Make a point and interval forecasts for U.S. unemployment. It is concluded that the prediction of unemployment in the U.S. is rather negative: it will be observed exponential increase in the unemployment rate over the next 10 years. It was determined that the United States adopt a series of measures to combat unemployment, towards the reduction of unemployment in the short term and in the long - must ensure economic growth through increase in employment. Concretized direction of U.S. policy in the fight against unemployment, which should be used in Ukraine.
