Abstract

The article is dedicated to ensuring the resource base of light industry at the present stage of development. The rapid development of light industry took place in developing countries with significant public support influenced the redistribution of productive forces. Center of mass production has shifted from Western Europe and the US to countries with lower labor costs, Southeast and Central Asia and South America. Production of highly concentrated in the production of products with high value added, based on high technology (painting and final processing), innovation and high-quality design, the production of high-end up-to-the-minute products and technically complex and special textiles (including the latest developments in this area - "smart" textiles).
