Abstract

The article deals with the paradoxes of globalization that exacerbate the problem of economic convergence. Differences in states' socioeconomic development lead to deepening of the divergence features. The economic openness, terms of trade, the effects of macroeconomic policies implemented by large countries, movement of capital and labor become dependence producers in the globalization era.
