Modern trendsin international capital movements in the context of globalization

The paper identifies the current trends of international capital flows, peculiarities of the regulation of this process at the national and supranational levels. The paper analyses the distribution of FDI inflows in countries and regions, the tendencies of the outflow of foreign direct investments, gives careful consideration to the trends in capital flow in regions. We look at the prospects of increasing foreign direct investments (FDI) at the global and regional levels in cirumstances where the global economy is getting more unstable, the debt crisis is overtaking Europe, the US is showing a little dynamic potential, potential investors are not confident of sustainable business development. The paper looks at the dynamics of FDI inflows and outflows in Ukraine, their geographical structure as well as the dynamics of Ukraine's international investment position.References
