Organizational and economic mechanisms of innovative development of rural West Polesie region

Abstract

The paper investigates problems that are associated with low levels of innovative activity in rural areas of the West Polesie region Ukraine, revealed the sources and causes of these problems and offer submitted to their decision, and organizational and economic mechanisms to stimulate innovation development Rural West Polesieregion.Based on the study it can be concluded that the study of organizational and economic mechanisms of innovative development of rural West Polesie region is important in the modern world. Innovative activity in our country is directed to the use and commercialization of scientific research and development and leads to market for new competitive-capable products and services. The priority areas of innovation in rural areas are - scientific, economic and social well-founded and legislation, aimed at ensuring society's demands in high-tech, competitive, environmentally friendly products, quality services and increase export potential.Implementation of innovative projects in rural areas of the West Polesie region has a number of risks that weaken the interest of potential investors to invest in this area, which include the overwhelming proportion of individual farms in land use and agricultural production; long payback period of innovation in agriculture compared to other economic activities and more.The main priorities of innovative development of rural West Polesie region: strengthening innovation orientation of agricultural production; innovative infrastructure in rural areas of the region; implementation of organizational and economic mechanisms of innovative development of human capital in rural areas of the region; diversification of activities in rural areas of the region on the basis of innovation.The implementation of the proposed measures with innovative rural development and their state support will help the achievement of strategic objectives: increasing the competitiveness of domestic agricultural products based investment focus and modernization of the sector; sustainable rural development, increasing employment and living standards of the rural population.Thus, it becomes evident that an innovative rural development plays an important role in the development of Western Polesie region. These not only initiate the growth of new jobs, but also expand the field of business activity, involving employment and those citizens who do not have high competitiveness. Organizational and economic mechanisms of innovative development of rural West Polesie region in the subsequent creation of favorable conditions for its development will increasingly affect economic growth, promote economic restructuring of the state.
