Regulatory methods at the non-banking financial services market

The article is devoted to theoretical substantiation of the regulatory processes necessity in the market of non-banking financial services and distinction of three separate regulation methods: state regulation, institutional regulation and self-regulation. Self-regulation highlighting is related to the existence of internal mechanisms which enable professional market participants to carry out complex of measures that allow them to follow norms and ethical principles of functioning. In the paper a conclusion has been made about the use of a European instrument of processes regulation, namely validation, as a newest phenomenon in the regulation of non-banking financial services markets. State regulation is realized through systematic work of relevant government bodies, institutional regulation through self-regulatory organizations - associations of professional participants of the non-banking financial services market, to which state delegates some of its power. The paper states that there are three types of such regulation: delegated, liberal and mixed.
