The analysis of the Ukrainian insurance market as part of its financial system’s model

Abstract

The article deals with the modern Ukrainian financial system analysis. Its structure is examined and the relationship of its main elements is demonstrated. These elements have a significant influence on each other as well as the entire system of finance in general.Also the article demonstrates correlation of its basic components, which are classified according to certain criteria. In particular, the general properties of the structural units of the financial system identified.The finding of the financial system’s components and their qualitative and quantitative interaction allows us to manage the entire financial system through indirect influence of one system’s element to another at both the macro and micro levels.It also allows to predict the behavior of each individual cash flow, and the entire system. According to this structure, the emphasis is made on the insurance and credit components of the Ukrainian financial system. The article analyzes its current state, existing problems and ways of further development.
